About

I make things move. Sometimes with computers, sometimes with cameras, and occasionally by sheer force of will. Officially, I’m a creative director, animator, designer, and a director, but let’s be real. I mostly just turn words into cinematic magic.

Born in Eritrea, raised in Sweden, and scattered across Stockholm, Adelaide, London, and Los Angeles, I’ve collected cultures like Pokémon and infused them into my work. The result? A style that’s equal parts sophisticated, chaotic, and occasionally questionable.

For over 20 years, I’ve been summoning TV network identities, commercials, and promos across Europe and the U.S. I’ve directed award-winning promos for HBO, Showtime, and FX, which means at least three people in Hollywood might know my name. My approach is hands-on, obsessive, and powered by a deep love for photography, live action, fashion, and beauty. Because why settle for ordinary when you can have fabulous?

I also have a background in visual effects, which basically means I enjoy bending reality to my will. My work is a mix of cinematic storytelling, artistic flair, and a healthy dose of “What if we tried something completely unhinged?”
